Overview
I help individuals and families in Maryland and Washington, D.C. plan confidently for the future with estate plans designed to protect their assets, their families, and their legacies.
With several years of legal experience and a background in family law, I have guided individuals and families through some of life’s most personal and challenging transitions. I understand the importance of long-term planning and work with clients to create personalized wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and premarital agreements, among other tools, to help them secure their future. I also work closely with individuals to navigate the legal process after a loved one has died, helping them understand their responsibilities and expectations at each stage of the process.
My experience representing clients through divorce and child custody disputes strongly informs my approach to estate planning and administration. I take a compassionate, client-centered approach and prioritize clear communication, so clients can make informed decisions with confidence. Effective counsel is not only about legal precision but also about careful listening and thoughtful solutions tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
Prior to joining McMillan Metro Faerber, I gained invaluable experience at several leading law firms in the Baltimore-Washington D.C. area, including an Am Law 200 firm. I also served as a law clerk on the Appellate Court of Maryland, where I developed strong skills in writing, analysis, and advocacy that continue to benefit my work on behalf of clients. I am an active member of the Maryland State Bar Association, Bar Association of the District of Columbia, Bar Association of Montgomery County, and the Montgomery County Chapter of the Women’s Bar Association.
